One day in Iran

We have made a short video of the material submitted by Iranian Caspian Seal Rehabilitation and Research Centre. Somewhere in its middle you can see Amir Sayad Shirazi, young and handsome. The center is his handiwork, his and Leni ‘t Hart, an irrepressible enthusiast, the Founder and Director of Lenie ‘t Hart Seal Foundation (The Netherlands). Amir not only created the Center, he did a lot of work with local fishermen, teaching them (strong men in the frame), and now they are his best assistants. But before that time they had been killing seals, yes, there had been such cases…

The hero of this little story was entangled in fishing nets, wounded, and starved – thank God, it was noticed in time, rescued, and cured. One of the fishermen (a gray-haired man at the end of the video) gave his name to this seal. It is beautiful, is not it? We would like you to know about it…
