COP7 to the Tehran Convention

The Seventh Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP7) to the Tehran Convention will take place in Tehran, the Islamic Republic of Iran, on 20–23 September, 2026.

During the first three days, participants in this international event will address a number of organizational matters, hear reports from representatives of COP7 and the Tehran Convention Secretariat, and finalise the draft document “Ministerial Statement and Decisions.”

On September 23, at High Level Segment, the Heads of Delegation of the Parties to the Tehran Convention and a representative of the Tehran Convention Secretariat will present their statements. The report of the Bureau on working sessions will be heard, and t Ministerial Statement and Decisions will be adopted. Other events are also planned within the framework of COP7.
