Caspian Sea Action Week in Actau

From August 6 to 12, 2026, Aktau will host the International Caspian Sea Action Week – one of the largest environmental initiatives dedicated to the International Year of Volunteers and Caspian Sea Day, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan.

The program of this event includes a large-scale coastal cleanup involving volunteers from all Caspian countries, environmental campaigns, greening, and an environmental festival. Expert meetings will be held with leading Caspian specialists, as well as a final international summit to formulate recommendations and practical measures aimed at preserving biodiversity and ensuring the sustainable development of the Caspian Sea ecosystem.
