215 Caspian seals were killed by poachers
More than 150 violators of the territorial waters regime of the Caspian Sea were detained by border guards over the past month. Basically, they were poachers, the citizens of Kazakhstan and other countries. From fishing nets, the coastguard seized nearly 2 thousand sturgeons, for the most part, already dead. In addition, more than 215 seals were died in fishing gear.
