Seals and Sturgeons Prepared for Transportation

On January 11, 2022, in the Caspian Sea, near the coast of the Tupkaragan Region (Kazakhstan), employees of the Fish Inspection and military personnel of the second division of the Border Service of the Mangistau Region discovered a poaching catch prepared for transportation. Three Caspian seals, packed in bags, and a bunch of 51 sturgeon, weighing 179 kg, were taken out of the water.

According to the Administration of Fish Inspection for the Mangystau Region, the documents on this fact have been submitted for consideration to the Police Department of the Tupkaragan Region.
