A large batch of sturgeons was seized in Kazakhstan
During a special operation on the Kulsary-Sarykamys highway, officers of the police department of the Atyrau Region (Kazakhstan) detained a car with a large batch of sturgeons (the total weight was more than 600 kg).
A pre-trial investigation is being carried out under Article 339 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Illegal treatment of rare and endangered species, as well as prohibited species of plants or animals, their parts or derivatives”.
